Well, the black colour didn't work out. The dealer said they didn't have any in stock so I went with the blue one. I'm really hoping it's the 2010 Blue colour version and not the 2009 version.

Back and more
Wow, long time, no post. :)
Busy at work and no time to do gunpla's lately. Booked my holiday on the 16th so hopefully I'll start with the MG Strike Noir.
In other news, my old Varadero 125 is going to be salvaged as it seems it has been written off. I had an accident about 2 months ago btw. The good news though is that the other party's insurance is paying me for the current value of the bike which I'm going to use to buy a new motorbike.
The bike I'm getting is again, a 125cc, Yamaha YZF-R125. I'm still on prov. license and I don't really intend to take the full license so the max engine displacement I can ride is 125cc. Pic below.

Well, that's all for now so hopefully there'll be more updates on the Strike Noir.

Zhao Yun FINAL!!
That's right, it's finally finish. :)
Took a while for a small BB Gundam model haha.
All done without the horse.
Zhao Yun on the horse. Blue + Red spear gattai. :D
All 3 BB Gundams I've done so far:
Rikuson Z Plus
Zhao Yun Gundam Heisen
Bacho Blue Destiny

As for the closing note.... My gold Gundam Marker has ran out :( but hopefully I'd be able to get one seperately from the Gundam Sangoku Marker Set.
Ans also, I finally got my airbrush kit but I'm still waiting for the mini water filter that attaches directly to the airbrush as it seems water is coming from the air compressor which messes up the colour.
The next kit I'm going to do is either the MG Strike Noir or the Kotobukiya Armored Core Rosenthal.... we'll see. :)

Zhao Yun #06
It's finally done. Well, except the horse.
While taking a pic, I decided to compare the quality of the Satio and the Canon 450D DSLR camera.
This was taken with the Satio phone camera.
This was taken with the Canon 450D. Settings on automatic & AF.
And this again with the Canon. This time, the setting is for incandescent lighting and on MF.
Now, I'm not a professional photographer but I do care about quality. :)
As you can probably notice, the Satio one is brighter and I suppose that's because the camera(flash) is only about ~12cm away from the figure.

Zhao Yun #05
Small update
Armours are finally done and on the model now. I'm nearly done with the weapons as well and after that I'm going to do the horsey that came with it. :)
It was a bit hard to balance the colour of the Gundam Markers as you can see on the blue part.

Kotobukiya Rosenthal CR-HOGIRE Noblesse Oblige (UPDATE)
Alright... something I always wanted to try out.
These Armored Core models from Kotobukiya always impresses me whenever I see one. So I decided to look and got one from ebay. The seller I got it from was very friendly and the kit was/is decently priced. As the title mentioned, I got the Noblesse Oblige version which looks far cooler than the regular Rosenthal kit.
And just FYI, I absolutely have not much info/idea about Armored Core series except that it is from a videogame and I've never played it. :)
Here are 2 pics from the kit, courtesy of Hobby Search(1999.co.jp).

Update 04/11/09: Finally received the kit. :) It only took 3 days from Hong Kong to London UK via EMS, pretty cool stuff.

Zhao Yun #04
More stuff detailed.
Made a few more colouring mistakes and I just CBA to fix them anymore as they will be covered by some armours anyways(except for the waist). :D
Almost finish now...

Zhao Yun #03
Finally an update on the model. :)
I've actually finished this for some time now
Primed the whole model except black/grey-ish part (upper-body and hands). There was really no point putting a new colour on it unless it's a colour other than black.
Did the panel lining. The head part was a pain but luckily I hardly made any mistake there so it looks very nice. I even surprised myself. :D
I seriously messed up the colours on the left foot. It seems the gundam markers that I had for it didn't look as good as I had anticipated so I covered it with the sticker that came with it.
More updates soon... again hopefully.
Really hope I'll have this done by the end of the month but I kinda doubt that. :)

Zhao Yun #02
This model is a tad bit harder to paint... actually the waist was. It needs 4 different colours in 1 single part which was a pain to do.
I tried the gundam marker first but it didn't look too well so I ended up doing it with acrylic paint. Will post another update soon.... hopefully. :)

Zhao Yun Gundam Heisen
Now that I finished with BB 319, I started making a new one.
I'm doing Zhao Yun Gundam Heisen complete with the horse. :)
This time I used my Satio to take pictures. Some of the shots are either too bright or too dark and that's because I'm still messing around with the settings.
The front cover of the box. It's twice the size of the 2 gunplas I've made.
4 runners (1x multi-coloured, 2x in white and 1x in rubber for the joints) and stickers.

My Satio!!
After two years of contract with Vodafone, I was finally able to upgrade my old phone to a new one. I got the recently release Sony Ericsson Satio camera phone. It simply looks very sleek and not much heavier than the SE K850i that I have.
Contents: 1x Satio Phone, 1x Battery Cover, 1x 1000mAh Li-Po Battery, 1x Handsfree Headset Cable Adaptor with earphones(you can use your own 3.5mm-plug earphone), 1x Charger, 1x Composite Video Cable(used to plug in TVs), 1x USB Cable and 1x Phone Strap(which is actually the Stylus Stick to use on the phone)
My Satio phone. :)
Another 2 years contract but I only pay ~£20 monthly with 300min freecalls and unlimited internet through WAP. :D

Finally!!!
It's done!!
This took a while as I didn't have much time to do them and also painted the whole model this time. I also bought a new gold marker which worked quite well and the best part is it has a 0.8mm tip. The marker is called "UNI PAINT" by Mitsubishi and is part of their Uni-Series.

Here's the finished model
And another shot with the weapon
I still have 4 SD Gundams to do and a MG Strike Noir. I'll probably do the MG once I got an airbrush.

More update!!!
Alright, here are 2 more pics.
Headgear..... or helmet if you prefer. :)
Done it with acrylics and it turned out rather nice but as you can see, the colour is quite uneven and I didn't actually noticed it until I took the pic.
Headgear and the blue shoulder pads attached to the model. I did the shoulder pads with the gold marker.

An update w00t!!
Well it's been a while.
This is what I'm currently working on --> Rikuson Z Plus
I'm still experimenting on which type colours I should use. On this model I'm using both acrylic paint and gundam markers. I'll most likely try/use airbrush an a couple of weeks.
Here's some pics.
I tried priming it as well and I liked how it turned out. Made the model feel non-plastic.
The body without paint.
Note: Do not prime before putting them together. Not a good idea.
That's it for now. More soon... hopefully. :)
